At ninemoons, we approach editorial work as an art in itself—where content and form are inseparable. We assume that how something is said and the way it is presented is just as significant as the content itself. Our expertise spans from editorial curation to the final printed material, integrating knowledge from anthropology, fine arts, book design, and both empirical and theoretical research. For us, the layout and structure of a book are not merely aesthetic choices but also carry deep content significance. Our practice involves placing and relating content in ways that generate altered meaning—sometimes subtle, often profound. We focus on the invisible layers of meaning that emerge from the interaction between content and form, creating a 'third content' that often might remain unnoticed but holds critical value.
To create printed matter with ninemoons is to engage in an experiment of form as content. It is to understand/acknowledge that every decision—typography, structure, sequence—is an act of meaning-making that extends beyond the visible. At ninemoons, we handle everything from concept development to final print, ensuring that every project radiates its intended message. If you want to create printed matter where form is content, design and meaning are deeply intertwined, we would be glad to collaborate with you.
